Terms and conditions

Terms and Conditions
  1. It is deemed that all children attending a party, or event, have parental consent.
  2. Suitable footwear must be worn. Shoes/boots with a hard sole & small heel are fine, as are wellies. NO open toe shoes please. It is the parents'/guardians' responsibility to ensure children are suitably dressed when interacting with the ponies/unicorns
  3. We try to minimise any damage to grassy areas, but it is likely that the ponies will leave some imprints on the grass regardless of weather conditions. We will take away any waste left by the ponies before we leave.
  4. Ponies are NOT to be fed during the party/event unless authorised by the handler.
  5. Before allowing children to get close to the ponies, we always give a short health and safety talk. It is the responsibility of parents/guardians to ensure that our instructions are adhered too. Rainbow Dreaming take no responsibility for any accident occurring as a result of safety instructions/dress code being ignored.
  6. Our ponies are used to the hustle & bustle of busy places, but they are animals & can be distracted. Ponies must have an area away from activities such as bouncy castles, trampolines, motorised vehicles & fairground rides.
  7. Dogs must be kept indoors or on a lead, unless prior agreement has been made.
  8. We can provide hand sanitising gel/wipes, but we always recommend thorough hand washing with hot water and soap after pony activities.
  9. Please note that photographs of the party will be taken and may be included on our website or literature for publicity and advertising purposes. Please be assured that children will not be named and details are securely protected under the 1998 Data Protection Act. If parents/guardians do not wish for their child’s photo to be used for this purpose we request that they advise us of this on the booking form.
  10. Permission from landowners/Councils must be gained for the use of public areas such as village hall grounds & playing fields. Details to be provided to us at the time of booking.
  11. Confirmation of your pony party booking will be made (subject to a site visit and/or risk assessment) upon receipt of the deposit (£45) & completed booking form. Payment of the balance must be made 1 week prior to the party/event by Paypal, bank transfer or cash. Cheques must be received by us at least 14 days before the party/event.
  12. Once you have specified when you be hosting your party/event, we will 'hold' your chosen date for 5 working days, during which time the deposit of 25% of the total fee must be paid to fully secure that date. Should the deposit not be received within this time frame, the date will be deemed to be 'free' and available for others to book it.
  13. If any of your guests have relevant allergies, fears or phobias, these must be communicated to Rainbow Dreaming in writing at the time of booking. Any individual highlighted as having an issue with ponies must also identified upon our arrival at an event, although it remains the responsibility of the individual/parent/guardian to ensure a safe distance from the ponies is maintained.
  14. Cancellations must be made within 48hrs of your party/event. Failure to do so will result in the full fee being payable.
  15. In the case of a cancellation, deposits are non-refundable, unless the cancellation is on the grounds of bad weather
  16. If you wish to postpone your pony party/event due to bad weather, we will offer you an alternative date with no additional charge. This must be done by 6pm the day before the party/event.
  17. In the unlikely event that Rainbow Dreaming have to cancel, a full refund will be given, or an alternative date offered.
  18. We reserve the right to leave the party/event at any time without refund if the ponies/handlers are mistreated or instructions from the handlers are not adhered to.
  19. By booking a pony party or event, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
